Dark Phoenix Music is an independent record label built around a simple idea: the artist doesn’t have to be real for the music to be.

Our artists exist in a universe created with the help of artificial intelligence, but the ideas, stories, lyrics and songs behind them begin with a human writer. AI isn’t the songwriter. It isn’t the creative mind behind the music. It’s the tool that makes it possible to take songs that might otherwise exist only as words and ideas and turn them into something people can actually hear.

DPM was created by a writer who wanted another way to bring his music to life. No band to assemble. No studio full of musicians required. No need to leave songs sitting unheard because the traditional route wasn’t available.

Instead, we build artists.

The Uncredited, Ascentro and Dopabeat each have their own identity, sound and place within the Dark Phoenix Music universe, with more artists still to come. They may be fictional, but the writing behind them isn’t. Every project starts with an idea, an emotion, a story or something worth saying.

Artificial intelligence gives those ideas a voice.

The creativity is human. The artists are fictional. The music is real.
